My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.  For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.  Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.
(Selections from Psalm 108)

GROWTH GROUPS  Don't forget to sign up for our GROWTH GROUPS if you haven't already done so.  A sign-up sheet is in the foyer.  The staff will be forming the groups this week.  We'll have more information for you soon.

OUR BEST WISHES to Jodi Sobish and Luke Bultema who were united in marriage on July 10 at Black Creek Bible Church, with Pastor Dwight officiating.  Jodi will be attending Grand Valley State College and Luke is in the National Guard.  He recently returned from serving in Afghanistan.  Luke's parents are Bob and Lanette Bultema.

ONLINE WITH GOD  is the online prayer line for our church.  When requests are submitted through the church office or by individuals, they are sent out to over 80 members of the prayer line for immediate and confidential prayer.  This is an excellent way to "stay in touch" with your church family throughout the week, and to remind you to support each other through prayer.  If you are interested in receiving the prayer requests online, send your e-mail address to: onlinewithgod@yahoo.com

CHRISTIAN CARE ICE CREAM SOCIAL Thursday, August 5, 2:00-8:00 p.m.  Pat Sweet has tickets.  Donation of $2.00.  Our church is also responsible for 15 cakes.  If you can bake one, let Pat know ASAP.  For more into, see bulletin board.

PERSONAL SOUND RECEIVERS  We have William Sound Receivers available for those who have difficulty hearing in our service.  Ask for a receiver from the gentleman who hands out the bulletins, if you would like to use one Sunday morning.

- Praise the Lord for the safe return of our youth from "Never The Same."  Pray that the spiritual lessons learned and the decisions made last week will not be forgotten.
- Having Jim Bultema with us in our service Sunday morning reminds us to pray for him, Renata and their family as they faithfully serve the Lord in Antalya, Turkey.
- Pray for the ongoing health problems of our seniors.  If you miss one of them, why not give them a call?
- Pray for our nation.  Pray for our leaders.  Pray for our military.
- Pray for the church staff as they are in the process of planning the fall programs.
- Pray for someone you know who doesn't know Christ, that they will come to faith in Him who is "the way, the truth, and the life."
